Eva Longoria Speaks at DNC and Then Jokes About Rape – Sounds Like a Typical Democratic Sex Slave – Bet She Calls Herself a Feminist Too!!

The day after the vice-presidential debate, most people are talking about Vice President Joe Biden’s lack of civility, characterized by his many interruptions of Paul Ryan and his ill-timed laughter on serious issues. That disrespectful behavior seemed to apply to the Obama campaign co-chair Eva Longoria as well last night.

As first reported by Twitchy.com, the former Desperate Housewives actress offended many across the political spectrum Thursday evening when she tweeted a rape joke about Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan. During the debate Thursday night, Longoria spent most of the time retweeting others’ observations of the proceedings. At one point, however, she went overboard, when she retweeted Nancy Lee Grahn’s statement: “Biden is making Paul Ryan his prison b***h! #vpdebate.”

Harsh language is not unusual for Twitter, or the internet for that matter, but it is certainly not appropriate for a co-chair of the President’s reelection campaign to say that about an opponent. Longoria then dials up the hypocrisy factor when she later retweeted Think Progress’ statement: “FACT: Ryan has opposed abortion access for rape victims since 1998.” Not only is the tweet a misrepresentation of Ryan’s stance, it showed that Longoria thinks she can both take rape seriously and then joke about it within minutes.

Ryan’s abortion stance includes exceptions for victims of rape and incest, but opponents have attempted to link him to Rep. Todd Akin, who lost support across the board after he made disgraceful comments about rape. Abortion supporters also opposed Ryan’s support of a personhood bill, which would give person status to an unborn child.

Longoria’s grasp on reality became even more tenuous when she tweeted after the debate “Every channel declaring a Biden victory!” That applies only if she counts MSNBC. CNN released a poll shortly after the debate giving the nod (barely) to Ryan, while Fox gave the advantage to Ryan mostly because Biden’s demeanor undermined his credibility.
